What is it?
LLEAD is a 4-module leadership training program for developing leaders for integrated community development, with literacy and scripture as the foundation and connective tissue. It will emphasize functional literacy across various disciplines including agriculture, health, water supply, income generation, scripture use, governance, conflict resolution, life skills, and technology. This is meant to connect to the community learning centre concept emerging in many communities promoted currently by the National Dept of Community Development and previously by NLAS. Ultimately the goal is for community transformational development with God’s Word at the centre.
Who should come?
Men and women, actively engaged in community service and/or teaching, looking for leadership training in transformational development and for the establishment of community learning centres.
